Rydges Melbourne Hotel, Melbourne

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, which was a pleasant surprise compared to the twin deluxe option that seemed run down and tiny. However, the value for money wasn't great as the older rooms with mold and hair in the bathroom were not satisfactory. The bathroom in the spacious room was tiny as well, although the enormous bed made up for it.

The hotel is situated in Carlton, with a convenient location and friendly staff. The rooms, although a bit dated and dirty, were still clean and offered comfortable bedding. The dining experience had some highs and lows, with beautiful options but also some disappointments. The facilities were well-kept and enjoyable, adding to the overall experience.

My stay at the hotel was just right for the four of us. The room was large and allowed us plenty of space to move around. However, it was in desperate need of renovation as there were no movie packages or DVD players available, which was a bit disappointing.

The hotel rooms were spacious and suited our needs at the end of my holiday, but they are showing signs of wear and likely need a refurbishment. The location couldn't be more perfect for city adventures, being close to restaurants, theaters, and parks. The dining experience was okay but nothing outstanding, with a decent selection offered. Overall, the hotel offers great value for a price but could use some improvements in various areas.
